IMF-ProRes-Workflows

MIST ist bereits in der Lage, Trans-Wrapping-Funktionen bereitzustellen und aus einem IMF-Master ein auslieferfähiges AS-11 für UK DPP, QuickTime-Datei für iTunes oder YouTube und vieles mehr zu machen.

Die Vorteile der potenziellen neuen IMF-Anwendungen, die mehr auf Rundfunk-Workflows ausgerichtet sind, sind jetzt eindeutig identifizierbar. Sie nutzen einfach die vorhandene ProRes-Verarbeitungs- und Archivierungsinfrastruktur und fügen die Vorteile der IMF-Flexibilität und Anwendungsprotokolle hinzu.

IMF-Workflows können viele Herausforderungen des Broadcasters lösen, wenn kulturelle, rechtliche oder technische Probleme mit unterschiedlichen Versionen auf verschiedenen Plattformen angegangen werden müssen. Dies war bei der Entstehung von UHD- und HDR-Fernsehbeiträgen nie wichtiger.

Der IMF erleichtert den Austausch von Inhalten zwischen Unternehmen, unabhängig davon, ob es sich um Diensteanbieter, internationale Vertriebshändler oder Rundfunkveranstalter handelt. Es macht es auch für Programmhersteller einfach, alle von ihnen benötigten internationalen Koproduktionsversionen zu erstellen und zu verteilen - einfach als ein einziges interoperables Format, das alles liefern kann, ohne mehrere Dateien mit gleichem Inhalt erzeugen zu müssen.

Ein weiterer großer Vorteil einer qualitativ hochwertigen ProRes IMF-Anwendungen wird während der Postproduktion realisiert, insbesondere wenn Anbieter mehrere Versionen eines Films für verschiedene Anforderungen wie Heimvertrieb, Paketmedien, Fluggesellschaften, OTT-Anbieter etc. erstellen müssen. Es können mehrere Versionen ohne Umkodierung, ohne Zeitvelust, ohne Qualitätsverlust und inklusive QC produziert werden.
